Mission Statement
At Christ Cares we have a very simple mission: To be the hands and feet of Jesus by breaking the viscous cycle of poverty among the most vulnerable children in the world. Our aim is to provide a place for these Children to live, work, and thrive. Enabling them with the tools to change the world!
About Us
Christ Cares Ministries is a non governmental, non- Profit and non political organization based in the village of Nsozinga in Kassanda District Uganda- East Africa. CCM is led by a man of God called Senkusu Grace Godfrey. Mr. Godfrey saw the need in Uganda and his heart broke for the orphan children there. That is why in 2018 he started Christ Cares Ministry. With nothing in his pocket, and Jesus on his mind, He set his heart to be a light in this world. Thus creating Christ Cares Ministries. What started out as one child has now turned into sixteen, and many more are expected to be brought in this year.
Our Programs
Christ Cares Ministries does more than just provide water and food for the children. We believe that education is the key to changing the viscous cycle of poverty here in Uganda. Listed below are the programs that our children are a part of, paired with the verses that give vision behind the programs we offer.
Evangelism and Discipleship initiatives. (Mathew 28:18-19)
A full education, including reading, math, writing, and Bible classes. (Proverbs 22:6)
Development in core values of Children. With focuses in Love, Excellence, integrity, unity, and accountability. (1 Peter 2:4-7)
Evangelism and Discipleship Initiatives
Hand in hand with God we push to share the Gospel of salvation for all the people who will listen. We are working daily to accomplish the great commission of our Lord Jesus Christ. Building not only men and women of character, but disciples who will change the world. ​
This is made practical through children’s Bible clubs in the local communities, medical missions, short gospel missions, youth discipleship camps, peer evangelism as well as pastors and church leaders’ empowerment.
There are many challenges we face everyday to reach the lost. In order to tackle the challenges, CCMU embarks on equipping and empowering pastors and church leaders through an ongoing pastors’ fellowship in order to insure a proper and effective equipping to keep the Gospel burning hot throughout Uganda.
Education
To enable children and youth access education and mentoring in order to grow in academic experience and build their career objectives.
Education is the core of CCMU. Access to education is a real challenge for many children living in poverty. For most families, school fees for their children are not something they can afford; especially when they have many children. It's not just school fees that the families have to pay; they also have to meet expenses of the extra school requirements like school books, uniform, shoes, and exam fees.
All this done through offering scholarships, reintegrating those who have dropped out of school back in to school and sponsoring the education needs of the young generation.
Children who do not report with everything as asked of them by the school risk being sent back home and eventually drop out of school.
Christ Cares Ministries Uganda works to eradicate these barriers in the way of children’s education by offering Basic English, writing and math lessons to children in the local communities that can’t afford school fees, providing uniforms and shoes, as well as covering the costs of children’s exam fees.
We target needy children, orphans and those living in extreme poverty as well as school drop outs.
We also network with schools and education service providers to be able to provide quality subsidized education to CCMU supported children.
We offer life skills training and extra-curricular to all in our care.
Development of Character
We develop community based programs involve in building physical structures such as churches, school structures, and houses/shelters for the needy.
We also aim at supporting personal development in education and life skills so we act as Character Trainers and strive to be agents of change in our community.

Please Pray for us. When running a ministry there so many things that can go wrong and so much need to go around that the only thing that can truly Change the world is prayer. So below Are a few things that we need prayer for today!
Finances. Please pray that we will keep having funding come in that will keep this ministry going.
Protection. Uganda can sometimes be a very dangerous place. So please pray that the Children will be protected from anything that tries to Harm them.
Growth. Please Pray that this ministry will see more and more kids come to know Jesus, and find a home where they will be loved and cared for.
